I have a 85' pontiac sunbird with a 1.8L TBI motor with an older PC card style connectors that goes to the ecm, I think they're both 24 pin connectors. One white and one black connector. Now can I change the ecm out to a newer one? One that I can tinker with the prom? I have several other 7747's and harness's and was wondering if I can unpin the ecm in the car now and repin them in the newer connectors? Now this is a dirt track tinker toy so I'm not to concerned about if something goes wrong but right now I dont think there is a tunercat file or even tunerpro xdf file for these 4 cyl's. So thats why I want to change over to something newer. Thanks in advance for any info.
