my car died on me the other day, it gets no fuel. pump doesnt prime when i put it in ACC.

thats all well and good, either a wiring problem or a bad pump. my problem is, when i hooked up my scan tool to it, or when i put the car in ACC without it plugged in, i get no service engine light at all. im almost positive it worked up until my fuel pump quit working. is it possible my ecm went bad, somehow not making that light come on, and giving no signal to the pump at the same time? can i check this to confirm or deny?

other than this, as far as i can tell there is no problem with the car.

 

exact same thing happened to my car about 2 weeks ago.. first thing I did was changed the relay and also check the fuel pump/ecm fuse.. by the battery.. but nope.. none of those was it.. I doubt i have a bad pump already since I just changed mine about 6 months ago.. it wasnt fun.. more than likely something electrical for me.. but you should try checking those things first.
