1228079 mystery?
Hello everybody,
I always thought the 1228079 ECM only came with the Carbed engines (87 Camaro and other cars). But for the second time I see the 1228079 ecm on ebay and the seller is absolutely sure it came out of a TPI 87 Camaro. With the first one I thought, well little mistake can happen to anybody but this is the second... Could it be possible the 1228079 was also used with the TPI engine? I know you can't change a TPI ecm for a carbed ecm but maybe they used the same numbers for different ecm's?
