computer in a 1986 Iroc tuned port, question
was wondering if anyone knew if or how i can change my computer in my Iroc to accept the six speed that i would liek to put in it?
it currently has a 700R4 so if i take out the auto there will be alot of infor mation the computer will not be getting correct?
Please advise!

Most likely you can leave the current ECM/MEMCAL in place. Going from an auto to a stick trans is not as critical as going the other way. Try it and see how it runs.
Depending upon the engine a later vehicle MEMCAL (see sticky's) could be used. There are no calibrations for a 350 & stick trans. So if it is a 305 you could change the MEMCAL to a 305/5sp calibration. Any from '86 through '88 will work. In '89 the cold start injector went away and VATS came on board.
