???'s about my tt 383 super ram combo bear with me please!!
Hi guys, I am trying to sort some ecm options out. First I will tell you my setup, I am using a 350 block 30 over 4bolt main, forged eagle 383 crank eagle rods for forced induction keith black pistons,8-1 compression ratio, blueprinted and balanced, RHS 210cc heads accel super ram, twin garrett t-3-t-4 hybrid turbos with 98-02 f-body Procharger intercoolers. I am wondering what to do about the ecm. The car is a mass air car from factory 88 irocz. I would like to be able to use the car as a daily driver sometimes but also go to the track every now and then. Ive been reading till my eyes cant stay open any more and Im still not sure what to do for an ecm? Should I stick with my stock ecm and burn a chip? convert to speed density? use megasquirt, accel dfi, typhoon/syclone ecm, commander 950ect??? any help would be very much appreciated
John

It depends on several factors. Let your wallet be your guide.
The 3rd gen computers don't support forced induction well (or at all).
Big Stuff 3 is definitely one of the BEST.
Troy Trepanier uses it on all his cars. Including MANY Twin-Turbo and other Forced Induction.
Chicayne is one of his noted accomplishments.

He's running a 1200hp Twin-turbo small block and getting 17mpg. Of course using Big Stuff 3.
That's the electronics that I'm going to go with. It is a little more expensive than some of the other systems out there.
As another note, John Meaney (the founder and owner of Big Stuff 3), also designed the systems for Accel and F.A.S.T. The auto makers use his electronics to develop and test new engines.
Go with what you want, but you asked for an opinion. BTW, John Meaney also daily drives his 1300hp and 1200tq 89 Twin-Turbo TPI Vette called Time Machine. And gets 13mpg/20mpg Not to shabby!

What to you think about the commander 950? It is reasonably priced.

Here are a few of the criteria that you asked for:
Non-stock motor and intake
Twin-turbo Forced induction
Track use & Street Use
DRIVABILITY & **DAILY DRIVER** (That's the HARD PART)
You have spent all this money and effort getting your car where it is. A computer and tuning is arguably one of the most important components of that system, and you want to save a few bucks? Not all computer systems are equal (in fact far from it).
Accel DFI or F.A.S.T would be the alternative systems that I would recommend. They are both excellent systems and you won't go wrong. They are also expensive....you're going to spend a chunk of money for anything good.
This is all just my $.02 Make the decision that suits what you want.
