I have been trying for the better part of about a week to get the car to idle half decently. I'm new to tuning and the XFI. I don't know if it's the cam or something else. I have the car at an idle of 1000 rpms but it fluctuates up and down from 900 to 1100 rpm, the map also fluctuates. I'm currently at about 13.4 A/F with 0% O2 corr. I have the spark at 30* and the VE is at 38(so far). I'm tuning the car in open loop. Also when I give it throttle it will pop in the higher rpms and the throttle is slow to return to normal. I'm starting to think that the Comp 306 cam is not for me, it seems to be a very wild cam for a beginner to tune. Starting to think maybe I should change cams. Getting frustrated. Some input needed.
