ok so i might have found a computer for my 88 iroc 305 5speed but the computer is out of a auto can i make this work what would i have to do to make it work

The '165 ecm in the 88 auto is the same as the 88 manual car. The only difference is your blue memcal(chip). Take your old memcal from your old ecm and put it into the new ecm and you should be fine.
