Bought accel dfi

i just bought the accel dfi thruster kit with wide band o2, i was wondering are these tough to install, or would you have a professional install this? is it pretty straight forward plug in type in and go or what?

I'm in the process of putting one in. So far we've only run into 2 issues.

1. It requires a Manifold surface temp sensor and you have to fabricate a bracket to hold it in contact with the intake manifold as near an intake valve as possible.

2. The intake air temp sensor is not the same as a stock TPI sensor. You need to have the Accel version or it won't plug in to the harness. If the kit didn't come with one, get one on order now. I got mine from Checker Auto for approx $14.

As for how hard it will be to convert your car, I don't really know. I'm installing it on a vehicle where we removed the factory harness as part of the engine swap. The hardest part was separating the engine harness from the rest of the electrical lines coming off the driver's side of the car. That was a true PITA.
