Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3:27 BW 9 bolt
Need help finding ECM number
Where do I find my ecm number? A sticker fell off of it that has a barcode and a eight digit number above it, is that it? The number reads 16068201

It is on the paper label on the ECM. It will be the Service Number. Stock for a '87 TPI is the 1227165 ECM. If it has been replaced there are several newer numbers for the same ECM.
