Question for RBob......

A couple weeks ago we determined that Im running an incorrect program in the 19 B4c I am working on. I had said it was driving fine...no issues and at the time it was. Now, since replacing the intake, TB, and runners, Not kmnowing how the pervious owner had this thing tweeked to function (idle and timing wise) it is not running good at all. Irratic idle, advance the time and it pings under acelleration......retard it and I have a hessitation at WOT. No happy medium so I need some info.

We determined that im running the AUJP service # 1227730 for the L98 with auto. Im running the 5 speed and it is not cooperating. My question is who or where can I get the proper parts ond or program to get this thing tuned correctly,. assuming that there is nothing obvious I have overlooked in getting this done in my garage here at the house. Im not interested in learning to burn my own stuff just want to give someone reputable the nessary info and computer or whatever they need and get it taken care of.
Thanks,
Gordon

Before you pay someone to tune it for you, try bumping up the fuel pressure some, this is of course assuming you added better flowing parts. If your running the stock fuel pressure regulator, you can "compress" the can inward placing more tension on the spring, upping fuel pressure. Should help some....

Re: Question for RBob......

car has always had the 5 speed. He just pulled the 305 and dropped in the 350 and when he did he put in the 350 program for the auto tranny.

Re: Question for RBob......

Best bet for a tune is to find someone local. That way they can drive the car and know what areas need attention. Then use a dyno to rough in the WOT area.

RBob.
