I SWAPPED IN A 350 FROM A LG4, IM STILL USING THE CC CARB & DISTRIBUTOR. IT RUNS VERY ROUGH WITH THE ECM, BUT IF I UNPLUG THE ECM IT IDLES ALOT SMOOTHER. IT SEEMS LIKE WITH THE COMPUTER THERE IS A MISS. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPREICATED.

When you set the base timing did you unplug the bypass connector? What is it set at?

YES I UNPLUGGED THE ECM, SET TIMING AT 8. I JUST PUT IN A VACUUM ADVANCED HEI WITH TIMING AT 12. IF I STOMP THE GAS ROLLING AT 20 MPH IT WILL NOW BURN THE TIRES!

you unplugged the ecm or the est bypass connector? If you're swapping to a non-cc dist you need to swap to a non-cc carb as well.. if the old 305 ran fine there's no reason it can't run fine with the 350, I'm betting its timing related.
