I only have one fan but the axcn bin uses 2?

I am only using 1 fan on my car and the axcn bin with the $8d definition has fan 1 AND fan 2 settings.

I'm assuming anything that I want to modify, (such as enabling the fan at a lower temperature) would be modified under the fan 1 setting, or would it be the fan 2 setting?

also, if im only using one fan, do i need to change anything on the fan 2 settings to keep it from trying to turn something on that doesnt exist? I dont want to get a check engine light.

thanks

The single fan setup is controlled by the temp switch in the passenger side head, not by the ECM. However, if it was, it would be fan 2.

so neither the fan1 or fan2 settings matter on my setup because the ecm has no control over it?

do i need to disable anything in the bin so i dont get any service engine lights?

You can change the fan 2 settings and try it, but I do not know for sure if those changes will work.

No you dont need to update the bin, the computer does not set an SES light if the fans arent working.
