Just wanted to say that I just took my camaro there last night & put it up on a dyno. After about 15 or so runs, I gained 25 rwhp & around 30 rwtq over last years numbers. This is by having a tuner that is familiar with TPI cars. Though it is converted to a mini-ram intake, I still have the factory 5.7 rotating assembly & ecm. I was able to generate a total of 306 rwhp & 310 rwtq.

I spoke with Forest at WBD this past fall. Still considering giving him my blown 400 to tweak on. Totally different with mine since it's carbed. Nice numbers you have there for a TPI 350!!!

 

I think Forrest has his own shop now, somewhere else. Brad is the one in charge at WBD now. Still very knowledgable, again its amazing what they can pull out of a motor in terms of hp & tq by just tuning the car. They said once I remove my cat and re-tune it, there's no reason I shouldn't pull another 30 or better horse out of it.

 

I know this is digging up an old thread but I just had my firebird out to these guys to correct the fuel curve and such. Everybody there is great and I had no problems with anything. To top it off I got about 15 hp and 15 tq to boot. I'd recommend West Bend Dyno to any local third gen needing a tune.

I believe one of the Brians did the tune but I pretty much just talked to Brad. Matter of fact I might take my '77 out there and get the most out of it too. But I might want to wait cause they've been pretty busy lately.
