What computers should be used in LSX

qUESTION- I'm thinking of running a LSX 409 or a 427 with a D-1 Procharger and intercooler set-up. I talked earlier about breaking the snout off the crank, of my Ram Jet set-up. I don't want to use the Fast System if I can do the same with a factory harness and OBD2 computer. I also was wondering speeds on computers too. I was told that the 2000 up is the faster speed computers and the Speed-o guy said the 98 to 2000 computers have a problem with calibration on the speedo side. I need some info on this! Also where would I get sensors for the motor(LSX) is there a site I can find them....thanks
