Re: Bypassing Speed Limited TBI Cars

When you cut A10, did you connect both cut ends to the toggle switch?

Dumb question, I know, but......

Yes, you should.

Hmmmmm......I wonder if it was written up wrong?

Or you misread the connection you used?

Or if your was was miswired/rewired at some point in its life, changing things somehow?

Different tires won't matter to the computer. It can't tell & doesn't care if they are brand new or brand spankin' new tires.

When the ECM loses the VSS signal, the SES should light up, unless your chip already has it removed from the tuning. Stock chip? SES light bulb out? Does the SES light initially come in, when you first turn the key? Maybe the bulb is out......

yeah my service engine light works. the thing with the tires is i know that it won't effect the ecm but i just don't want to blow a tire out at 120 mph. im pretty sure it is a stock chip because when i bought the car i was testing it out and i hit the 115mph wall so.
