software

just wondering what software would be best for scanning...not looking to modify prom...yet. just need some accurate readings. i've got an 89 firebird 305 t.p.i. with '7165 ecm. tried tts, but won't work with my cable, or i cant get it to, it wants a serial aldl and i'm using usb. any help would be cool

what cable do you have? just get tuner pro Its free and when you decide you want to get into tuning you can use it too.

ALDL is suppose to be able to use USB

though can tell ya I had to build 2 cables before I got it to work.
No reason why, but first one wouldn't work.
