help finding compatable ecm for 90 305 tbi auto
a member on this board has a 92 305 computer for sale, wondering if it would work in my 90 or 91 (door jam says late 90, title says 91) 305 tbi auto RS. I called the parts store and said there are 2 different computers for 90-92, i assumed 1 for auto 1 manual but he said no thats not the case, its determined my the serial number on current computer, problem is i have an aftermarket in there now. The shop i had it at told me there is only 1 computer for these cars 90-92, so now im just confused. Any help would be appreciated!

'89 - '92 f-body TBI cars use the 1228746 ECM. There are no others for this engine/vehicle. Remember to move your PROM over to the new ECM.
