ecm question?

Car: 98 camaro ss, 98 grand cherokee 5sp
Engine: 5.7 ls1, 4.0 sixxer
Transmission: T56, ax15 swapped
Axle/Gears: 3.42, 3.73
ecm question?

ive got an ecm # 1227165, i know this is 86-87, as it has the ninth inejector. It has label number 16087373. How do i tell if this is a 305 or 350 tpi ecm? any help is much appreciated

It is the MEMCAL inside of the ECM that defines what it was used for. The ECM itself was used on TPI cars along with TBI trucks.

Get the 4-letter code (BCC) off the PROM, with that we can tell what the application was for that particular calibration.

ACXS is an '87 LB9 auto calibration.

This is the info that I found....

1987 305 (5.0L) "F" body Camaro-Firebird-Trans Am

Prom BCC = ACXS
Prom Code = 1088
Scan ID = 0791
Trans = Auto
Gear Ratio = 2.73
Emissions = Fed
Body = F
