got my Ostrich 2.0 now some questions
I have done some searching and other then a couple threads troubleshooting bin uploads and things of that nature nothing much was ever said about the actual operation of the unit. TunerproRT reads it just fine and I can upload to it just fine. After messing around with it for a while I've noticed that certain things like spark and fuel tables don't update in real time. Meaning I make changes and click update which updates the current open bin but it doesn't update the current loaded bin in the Ostrich. Other less significant tables like say the idle speed tables update in the loaded bin on the Ostrich as soon as I click update after editing the table in the current bin on tunerproRT. Not a big deal, its just one of those things I had to play around with to figure out. Also didn't know the modified bin could be uploaded while the engine is running. I guess what I need to know is if I am operating this thing the right way. Should I not be uploading with the engine running although it seems to do it just fine? Are there any potential problems such as a bad upload that can leave me dead in the water? Any other tips or tricks about the Ostrich and what it can do?

When edditing 3d tables, you will sometimes need to hit the enter button after inputting the new number and THEN click update. It seems that if you still have the cell that you want to deit highlighted, it won't get updated.
If you use the graph to edit the table, it will update as you make the change, you should hear a confirmation sound, when you release your mouse button.
You will need to have "emulation" turned on. Little blue EPROM looking thing in the top toolbar.
Uploading new bins and changes while the engine is running is fine. I will upload new changes while the car is being driven down the road.
