ECM question

I'm trying to whittle away at a torrent of odd electrical issues with my 1991 Camaro 5.0 TPI and I've been edging closer and closer to replacing the ECM. I've done more work on OBDII systems and am wondering about these ECMs that I'm finding at Advance. I would have to take the PROM from my ECM and put it into one of these correct? Or would it need to be rewritten completely?

You would swap the MEMCAL over to the replacement ECM.

RBob.
