16146299 `92 TBI ECM ADS file not right?

Hi all. I have a boat engine L03/305 running on the stock code with the 16146299 ECM.

I'm running tunerpro with the 16126299.ads file loaded in.

I'm communicating ok it seems, but the numbers are garbage. Very random and the values don't make sense. Has anyone successfully run this ads?

I tried Winaldl which will communicate ok so I'm getting some numbers, but there are things like knock count which are pretty attractive.

Is there another option...I've heard some talk about freescan. Anyone used it on this ecm?

I wanted to get some good info flowing before I go messing with the code.

Thanks,

Chay

Use WinALDL setup for the "288 TBI ecm. It works well with the 299 and doesn't spit bad numbers.

The other item on top of what Fast355 mentions, is to try both 2400 and 4800 baud. Many times one works better then the other.

Ahh, missed the baud option.

I'll try it out and see what happens!

Thanks.
