Best Tune
I have a pcmforless mail order custom tune for my 383 custom build. My problem is i want all i can get out of the engine. So i was wondering is there a pcm tuning chip. I dont want to mail each chip and if that doesnt work change it. I heard there is some pcm chips that you can adjust with your laptop but dont know the name of them. Please any information will work. Thanks

Re: Best Tune
I'd recommend getting it dyno tuned, that truly the only way get the max power out of your setup.

Check out the DIY_PROM forum on this site.
The "chips you can change on the fly" are called "EPROM Emulators."
A popular one is the moates.net Ostrich 2.0. Auto Pro is also popular since it also combines the Ostrich with an ALDL logging cable and an EPROM programmer.
