Hopefully this is in the right forum! Was browsing some threads and just thought that I'd mention that I have had this chip in my 92 RS 305tbi for a good 6 years probably with no problems. Performance wise it doesn't really do anything other than I think it's good if you set it on 3 or 4 it advances the timing a little for those older cars that are losing low end power. Other than that it's just an expensive engine cut off switch unless you actually "let" people drive your car then the "valet" mode comes in handy... lmao... just sayin'!

Edit: My RS has the 5 Spd MT unlike most people having AT.

 

I saw one of them once for $300. Moates has the same thing for $65.
