LT1 ECM with HEI Distributor

What are my options here?

ECM is from a 1992 Corvette LT1

Motor is an Old School L98 (Fuel Injection) with External Coil, Small Cap HEI.

Swapping ECM is not an option.

I really want to try and keep this as simple as I can - it seems like if I can figure a way to feed the ECM the correct timing pulse I should be able to get everything else to play ball.

I've come across some snippets of information on a "Westwood Digispark" but it seems like their website (and I assume Co.) are no longer in existence.

I know that the cam in the motor is actually the "long pin" LT1 type - how about actually fitting an Opti-Spark to an old school SBC to get the signal? Possible? Timing cover fit?

Any advice or pointers greatly appreciated!
