New owner of L98 Iroc with a T5 swap, tune needed?
I just bought a L98 Iroc that had a T5 swapped in it. The PO said that he never had it tuned after the swap, however the car drives great.
It's got a ram air setup, K&N Filters and a 3" exhaust with cutout.
Should I go ahead and get a custom chip burned? Will I see any gains?
Thanks in advance for any input!

The automatic tune has more sa, if the car is not bucking while slowing down no need for a tune. Your desired idle can be lowered as well in the reprograming.

Alright thanks. What do you mean by the auto tune has more "sa"
Also is a tune and reprograming synonyms/ the same. I'm new to the ECM business and am trying to learn.

If you compare the spark tables a automatic transmission binary file has more spark advance to help get the car moving easier. The eprom programing is called The calibratior .
