Does DFI have a rev limiter?

I just installed nitrous and when I floor the car without nitrous its fine. But, when I floor it and use my nitrous it starts to go then cuts off all power to the engine. I had my DFI programmed by someone, but was wondering maybe the engine is hitting the rev limiter when it sees nitrous? Could this be? Thanks

Yes there is a place in the DFI programming to program your high end rev limiter

DFI`s rev limiter is weird....if your talking ACCEL DFI.
Its not like an MSD`s, which is violent....its more like it lets the engine fire 2 times per second or something.....kinda similar to what these stock gm, ford etc...cars have for a stock rev limiter when you floor in it park.
If its not like that, its probably not your rev limiter, maybe something is wrong with your nitrous system...too much fuel or nitrous....not enough spark, too wide of a gap on your plugs and blowing out the spark....could go on

I assume you're talking about the Accel system...go into the Global ECU setting, pick Configure ECU and see what it is set at. The rev limiter is down at the bottom of the list.

Do you have a Hobbs(fuel pressure safety) switch on your NOS setup? You don't mention if you do or not. If you do, I'd start there.
