Hello everybody! Newbie here with some odd questions....

I have a 4.8 lr4 engine I would like to run using my accel gen7 (v3.2 LS1) and my Mallory Firestorm ignition 69100s box with LS1 cam/crank harness.

Has anybody on here tried that combination?
If so, whats the preferred way to integrate these boxes?

I would like to run the gen 7 in sequential mode so I guess the cam sensor has to be shared betwen the boxes?

Can I use the Firestorm box as just a coil driver and use the gen7 to controll timing or do I have to use the the gen7 in fuel only and use the Firestorm to controll timing with its own set of engine sensors?

Can they share sensors or would that cause problems with voltage drops and so on?

I have a Firestorm 69000mr cd box also, but that would require med to buy 8 new CDI coils, so probably wont use that box eventho the datalogging feature would be Nice.

To be honest with you, don't use that Firestorm. I would be amazed if it would even run your engine. I hope you didn't buy it at full retail price. If you need any more insight on it send me a PM.

If you're dead set on using the Gen7 your best bet would be to try and find the Accel DFI LS ignition control box and harness (this won't be easy). It would run your stock LS coils and integrate nicely with the Gen 7.

 

Are they that bad.....? No wonder I couldnt find any usefull info on them online.
I got the boxes cheap.
Oh well, if it wont work on my engine I'm back to plan B- the Hp tuners box and standalone harness I have in the closet😁
