87 TPI 5-Speed ECM.. SAME AS AUTO??
Hey Gang,
Think I have a problem with my ECU. Want to know if the Auto TPI ECM for 1987 Iroc is the same my 5-speed car.
Seen several used units on ebay but they all mention they were from an auto car.. Mine is a 5-speed

I believe that both ECMs are the same, only the Memcal (chip) is different. Check the service part number on the sticker on the case of your ECM. If the other ECM has the same number, you're in business.
