I currently have this self tuning setup installed on my 89 iroc has a sbc 355, hsr instake, Dougs longtubes, afr heads, comp cam, 1.5 roller rockers, msd ignition system... for some reason it doesn't hold idle I try running a new tune and it wants to rev at about 1200 to 1400rpm where it holds idle I've tried different things, my next step is buying a fuel pressure gauge to install between the lines to make sure I'm getting a steady reading, it can't be running for too long because those fumes start burning your eyes I kinda regret buying it. Any help appreciated.

 

I run the 30404 on my '87 and haven't had any issues.

 

what have you set your idle at in the hand held? also, when you made changes did you reset your TPS?

i know its a pain right now but we will get you worked out. iv had mine since 09 or so and its actually taught me alot about what was wrong with my last eng and works killer on my 383.
