Aldl pinout

I'm having trouble finding a pinout for the obd com port that makes sense.
92 5.0 TPI

F E D C B A
G H I J K L

A is ground.
B is diagnostic 5v
C is unknown

J is 5v <----------- WHAT is this for?
K is unknown
L is 8192 serial data

Others have no pins.

Can anybody fill in the blanks especially J. I want to know if I can power anything with J or why not.

Re: Aldl pinout

All I know is that if you have the wiring diagrams for the car, you can flip thru the pages relating to the EFI and transmission and look for the wires that terminate at the ALDL. I'd trust that further than any diagram found online, it'd just take a bit of studying to research.

Re: Aldl pinout

Lower terminal letters didn't use I, looks too much like a 1.

Code:
F E D C B A
G H J K L M
A is ground.
B is diagnostic 5v.
C is unknown. Not sure what would be there.

F should have the TCC on it, pin F6 on the ECM, it also goes to the TCC solenoid.

K is 5v. Diagnostic request to DERM
L is unknown.
M is 8192 serial data. ALDL and DERM

Others have no pins.

RBob.

Thanks, rather than fool about with unknowns I'll just pull 12v from the fuse block.
Interesting that there's still unknowns after 30 years!
