Fuel Questions '91 LS1 swap

Swapping an '02 LS1 into a '91 RS with stock fuel tank & sending unit. Have upgraded fuel pump, reg and filter. Any issues with capping both vapor lines and use a vented gas cap to get rid of evap canister and just run the send & return fuel lines? Also, anyone have a diagram showing where each of the lines from the sending unit go? Thank you!

Re: Fuel Questions '91 LS1 swap

Lot of people use the corvette filter that has the internal regulator, there are diagrams here and on ls1tech forum on how to set that up.

How are you wiring the engine, using aftermarket pcm or GM? if GM you will need to delete all the evap controls if you set it up the way you are talking. If aftermarket you will have full control.

I would keep the stock thridgen canister and tank vent so you don't have gas smells.

Re: Fuel Questions '91 LS1 swap

The engine swap came with a PCM (guessing its stock). I did order a plug & play wiring harness from Jegs...

Ok you will either need to buy HP Tuners or similar or find a company that will re flash your PCM to stand along mode (alot of the companies that sell plug & play harnesses include the PCM flash as part of that price so check there)

there is a diagram here on how to use the vett filter/regulator.
