86 vs 87

86 vs 87
Heres what I got a stock memcal from a 86 vette I installed it in 2 different 87 tpi irocs nether will start with it I put it back in the vette starts and runs fine is there any difference in proms from 86 to 87 if not what do I need to do to make the 86 work in 87. Also I have a tpis memcal that was burn for a 86 iroc it ran ok and now the same memcal is in a 87 iroc and is running ok it also ran ok in the 86 vette. Thanks for all replys.
