craig moates software

I've build a 2-transistor cable and am using the 8.45 version of the scanner...links up ok and everything seems to work fine, however i don't seem to be able to dump memory? I always get a timeout error instantly. I get perfect data otherwise (no errors, ~10hz data speed, etc.)
'730 ECM, stock memcal.
what address range should I be dumping?
Is there any way to get the NVRAM dumped, so you can see the BLM cells etc?
thanks....

The memory location ranges should be listed somewhere, you can do a search... The defaults I think are wrong for the 730, but correct for th e 165.

Why is it timing out during that task and not others? That's odd. You're sure you're connecting OK & all, so I guess that's not it. Hmmm... Still haven't got it to go I assume? Maybe someone else can chime in with their difficulties turned success.
