help w/VE tuning .

730 swap has been pretty satisfying but have a Q about tuning the VE tables.
currently when i make a move for instance i have 132 BLM
@ 2200 rpm and 43 kpa i would add 3% to the surrounding areas
2000 and 2400 /40 kpa and 45 kpa being there is no 2200 or
43 kpa is that the right way or should i just make a move on the
lower sides say 2000 /40 kpa?
The way ive been doing it has been getting me close but i just may be lucky ,thats why im asking.

Thanks for any help.

Dude, just grab VEMaster and Datamaster and your part-throttle VE tuning woes are over. Search on VEMaster and you'll find it, very recent thread.

You get 20 runs from the demo license of Datamaster, should be plenty for initial tuning and let you decide whether to buy it...VEMaster is freeware.

What I do is make a list of the Rpms VS Kpa and then go out and log runs at those points.

Well part of the problem is i live in PA and it is all hills
and quite hard to stay at a certain point. also i cannot view more than one point at a time on my scan tool and another problem is i have to figure my KPA out myself w/calculator so i watch the scan tool all the time (BLMS) and i see a problem area i hurry up and capture 15 seconds and atack that area.
Its worked fairly well so far but a lap top would make me much more precise.
