CHANGING C.MOATES SOFTWARE FOR V6s 730 ECM
Anyone can help me with this project (if C. Moates is O.K.).
I need make changes to the ALDL data structure/protocol into the C.M. software in order to recognize the data stream for others V6 cars.
How can do it? Where are the files, compiler, etc.?
Thanks in advance.
Denis V.

I should have all that available for download, just check the site www.moates.net and then for the datastream definition, I can forward some of that info along also if you let me know engine codes & stuff like that for what car you're trying to read...

O.K. Craig, thanks.
I downloaded all files from your site. I think the E6.bas is the "datastream definition". (I used BASIC at the University 20 years ago!. I hope remember it today for changes).
I'm trying to read two cars with similar engines 2.8 V6 code W: My wife's Chevrolet Corsica 1989 and my family car: a Chevrolet Celebrity Wagon 1988 with MAF & MAP. For this last car I made a lot of PROM burns but only I can know the engine outputs in a "older method basis" with my "human scanner": my ears + my eyes + my foot at pedal testing the power + exhaust smell + SES light. This car have an original $6d calibration but it runs with $88 bins without problems nor SES light. Now, I'm testing the $88 beta version from Tuner Cat and bought a Laptop, then the only thing that I need is a free scanning software for these two cars. If your sotware works with changes to the datastream for V6s, then I could try to make changes for the datastream from Firebird/Camaros V6s with the $88 mask for future V6s prom burners guys.
