Need help with WinBin
I downloaded winbin from the link in Trax's article and the definition file for the 730 ecm from the diy-efi site. I pulled my chip from the car and saved its bin and was trying to edit it but i get nothing form the winbin. It will open the program and i see all the file folder headings but the pages are all blank. I am wondering if this is just some glitch or if the WinBin program i downloaded has a problem. If anyone has encountered this and know what's up i could use some advice.

what do you mean drop down's? All i could see were the headings: Flags, constants, arrays, 3D but the rest of the screen was blank.

I' ve been struggling through the same thing.. I'm getting very angry at winbin.. It doesn't even look like the author is supporting it anymore.. I wish I could download the source code so I could comment out the part where it inits the stupid com ports.. WHY!?!?
Basicly, it looks like it fails that, fork()'s, then like dies. Doesn't load any ECU data.
