8746, EGR, and TunerCat

I've searched the board and cannot find an answer as to how to turn off the EGR on TBI PROM. TunerCat has EGR on/off constants for Low MAP threshold, speed, and % TPS. I've read that one member tried disabling EGR via raising the EGR "on" speed to max value, but it still came on at certain times. Is there a better way to turn it off, or should I simply raise all three "on" constant values to their respective max levels?

Thanks for any info,

MILT

Turn the EGR enable temp all the way down as far as possible. This constant is an inverse, don't raise the temp, you'll notice that it'll still come on. If you don't have the EGR enable temp in your software you should ask TunerCat through e-mail to add it for you.

Amazing what kind of feet your mouth collects when you do not look before you answer. My bad

Jon, You are right the constant is inverse. Lower the constant all the way down. If they give it to you in degrees (constant run through a formula temp = 103.75 - (constant *5/12)) you will need to raise the temp to 103.75(this should lower the constant to 0).
