Knock Retard Prob.
I am getting 16 degrees of knock retard at WOT above 3000rpm. I am suddenly getting it. I haven't changed timing, replaced knock sensor just to check. What should I check or how do I diagnose what it is? I disconnected timinng connector and still had knock retard.

HMMM,
you still got after disconnecting the advance? Well it may not be knock at all then it may be picking up an exhaust leak,do you have one by the sensor? Is the exhaust hitting anywhere?
Try these if you are sure that you are not running very lean
first or the distributer has not moved on you.
