I got a code 24 and 43 today while driving home tonight. I looked them up and 24 is VSS and 43 is ESC. I don't have a VSS hooked up in my car because I run the th350 trans and have not yet found a way to install one. My question is why the code 43? I have gotten these two codes before and they both come on together. When the "check engine" light comes on I experience an idle problem, the idle is very low and the car will stall if I come to a complete stop with the throttle closed. I need to feather the gas pedal slightly to keep the engine running. This never happens when the " light" is off. If I turn off the car and restart it the light goes off and the problem goes away.

Any thoughts? Let me know.

BTW, I have a 730 ecm.
