Quick Winbin ?

I'm trying to change the injector constant. I went from 22 to 24 # inj. and was getting BLM's in the 112 range.
I have aujp1350.
Am I supposed to use ECM file 1227730_8d.ecu? From what I understand it's the mask. using this, my constants show up in lb/hr instead of gm/sec.
Anyway, when I change the value to anything it asks me to save. I do. Nothing changes on the car and when I go back into winbin to see what happened it still shows the original value of 22.08 lb/hr. Is it not actually saving? I am doing the checksum in winbin before the save.

Viprklr,

Barring any computer/software issues on your end verify that the ecu file you are using is a V8 version. The '730 ECM was used on V6's as well as V8's and the V6 bins have different memory locations for data than the V8's. If that's the case Winbin will save the values you put in, but to a different location that depending what that location is actually used for in a V6 bin may or may not be noticed by you. HTH.
