Cause for Fan on error
I'm using an ARAP bin in my 350 vette converted to the 165ecm. For a while the fans worked normally but now with Craigs software, I find the error "Fan on disabled by PID". The cooling fans turn on after the car is started but not with the ignition on. It is not the N/O fan flag. I'm using Winbin the alter the ARAP bin. Any suggestion on what can cause this error?

The temp sensor works fine. Both the dash and ecm temp sensors give the same reading.
I have a air pump delete bracket and I unplugged the two air solenoids. This could give an open circuit. I will try plugging them back in.

I looked over my bin again and I did have the fan flag set wrong. I have to start writing the changes I make down.
ahh well good to hear. yeah ive seen some gm ecms that will turn the fans on any time the circut is fualty or something like that. not being a very good code reader i cant see it in the code yet but its a failsafe mode thing.i dont think the $6e has the capability but it might.
