made first scans, now i need help

I made my scans on my 89 Iroc 350 TPI 165 ECM, using a RS232 AKM style adapter, and craigs software. my questions are as follows:

1: When in closed loop, my BLM's stay @ 108 and never move, excpet on start-up when they go to about 111 which indicates that im running rich. But almost all of my O2 readings are above 500 Mv indicating a lean condition correct? I have a leak between the manifold, and where it connects to the Y-Pipe, right below the 02 sensor, is this the cause of my problem? or a bad o2?

2: What is LV-8 ?

3: How many IAC processes, should i have going on, according to my scans i am getting 120-150 @ 65-75MPH, could this be causing my fuel consumption?

lv8 is load variabl 8 bit is a function of AIRFLOW vs RPM.

as for that BLM id say chaning the injector constant might fix it. if it is infact that far off all the way around. please fill me in what mods and what inj etc etc etc. and also what have you done so far.?and its a bit rich but as long as it falls into the area where blm and int can correct for it its not really gonna run rich. bascially te ecm can trim up as amuch fuel as your off. however the ecm is now so loaded down with math cycles that its gonna stumble and contatly be hunting blm int for 128. so whats the score ?

bone stock motor, with factory 22lb/hr injectors, the engine was rebuilt in 1997 so i am told. I will be getting my chip adapter on the 20th from craig its in the mail now, then I will try changing stuff. I am going to fix me exhaust leak today hopefully, and run some more scans on the way to work (im in school right now). I will post the differences tonight.

As far as the o2 sensor goes, is it below 450mv is rich, and above 450mv is rich correct?

i also know that its running rich, because it took a 1/4 tank of 89 octane gas to drive approx. 35 miles and the exhaust always smells way rich.

The greater the oxygen content difference between outside air and exhaust gas, the higher the O2 sensor voltage. So, a lean (more O2 in the exhaust) mixture will show a lower voltage, while a rich (less O2 in the exh) will show a higher voltage.
Your low BLM readings indicate that the computer is pulling fuel out, and that agrees with the high voltages you are seeing.

IAC counts of 150/160 at cruise is normal. The computer runs the IAC wide open then. Should have no mileage impact. You are just running so rich that the computer cannot pull enough fuel out. A BLM of 108 means the computer is doing all it can to lean out the A/F ratio.

GREAT HELP, THANKS:hail: so does the leaky exhaust play a role in the running righ or not?

oh ya, i dont have a Catalytic convertor either and all my smog stuff is removed like the A.I.R. tubes, the air pump is still there but unplugged, is that bad?
