i took out my stock chip and burned a new one. but i dotn konw which way the notch is suppose to go when i install it back in to my computer. if my computer is standing up with the tag right side up adn th chip door on top, which way does the notch go on the chip. to the right or left.

 

Assuming this is TBI on a 747/746, look a the black holder, it will have a dot on it, put the chip in the older with the cut on the same side as that dot. The holder only fits in the ecm one way, the notches on the holder dictate which way it fits.
