What do I need?
I have downloaded the winALDL software to my laptop. After doing that I am getting real confused. I have a 92 camaro RS. It had a 305 TBI. It now has a 383 stroker and I am using the same TBI and ECM. I am fixing to replace the TBI with a holley 502-6 bigger TBI. After I do that I am going to want to burn my chip. I guess all I need now is the interface cable. I want to make my own and I went to the website listed on how to build this cable and I am totally confused. I work for a computer company so I have access to all the tools and parts required. Can someone send me in laymens terms how to build this interface cable so a dummy can understand how to build it? Thanks Guys

Ok I have the wiring scheme figure out. Will the wires in the 9 pin serial cable be efficent or do I need different wire and besides the winALDL software what other software do I need and where do I get the aldl connector to plug into my ECM?Thanks

wow no one awnsered you anyways if you need help on the cable it is really perty easy to understand you are going to want to use the 2 trasitor interface both of them can be any NPN switching transitor as well as you will need i think 3 10k resitors and one diaode then start soldering them together at the points where the dots are on the scamatic if you dont have one let me know ill find you one if you can read scamatic symbols its a no brianer
as far as the ecm its probably a 1228746 ecm
if your going to want to burn chips you will need a few more items to do so you will need a programmer like xtronics pocket programmer 2 like i have or others there are many out there a UV light to erase the stock chip 2732A is the type of it and tunning softwere like tunner cat or winbin
