Max TPS adjustment.

The book says that the correct adjustment is .54.v +/- .075. The problem is that I only get 4.46.v at WOT. How much can I advance the TPS with out messing up the computer. I read that you get more power if you can reach 4.80.v or higher. As long as you reach P.E. vs. TPS does it really matter what your WOT TPS .v are? I have a 91 Camaro Z with the 7730 ecm.

I think that statement is correct, it doesn't matter.
My TPS% reaches 100% at a TPS volts of only 3.84v. My idle TPSv vary from .53 to .55v, but since my throttle idle stop physical opening is very small, the IAC counts at idle are about 70 (instead of 10-20). My take on that is if I had a larger idle throttle opening, therefore a smaller TPS idle count, then the TPSv at WOT would probably be higher.
At any rate, if it gets to TPS% = 100, and you physically have the throttle blades fully open, the ECM is in PE at WOT. Then, the ECM will do its spark and fuel table lookup at whatever MAP the intake can achieve.
And, no, changing the TPSv to 5v will not increase HP!

This point is pretty vague right now because of my time away from this board, BUT, I remember that the TPS voltage was to reach a minimum of 4.0V at WOT.

Be careful not to adjust your TPS too high at idle......
