?? about MAF tuning
?? about MAF tuning
ok, so for the time being I am gunna try and get the hang of tuning my car with the MAF before I go to MAP. so here are some questions...
I have read that with a MAP bin, you check you BLM and INT for the given RPM/Load value you are trying to focus on, then you adjust the VE table until the BLM and INT are both as close to 128 as you can get them. So where do I do this on a MAF bin? Do I use the Mas Air Flow 1, 2,3... tables?? and if so, how do I adjust them, make the values in the Gm/s colunm larger for more fuel and smaller for less fuel, is hat how those work??
also, what is the Mass Air flow vs. RPM (diag.) table all about?? does that tell the computer what the airflow is expected to be at a certain RPM??
I am trying to be as specific as I can, I have gotten down the whole concept of getting the injector constant as close to true as possible, and adjusting TC values, and fan on temps and things like that, but I am going to need to get deeper into it soon.
ALSO, someone mentioned before that with a big cam you may need to adjust the rich/lean voltage limit... is that only on a MAP car, or can it be done on a MAF car as well??

Yes, you can adjust the values in the six MAF tables.
However, there is very little adjustment allowed here until you hit the max value allowed in each table.
Check out the other MAF table/BLM post on this board.
