Question on pulsewidths and 302A.. Funstick?

Would 19lbs Ford injectors (21.75lbs @ 43.5psi) work in a 2.8 (like 13lbs stock)? I'm mainly curious as to whether the pulsewidth would be too short at idle, or if it'd be ok. 302A ecm here (MAF based).

the stock injectors are 15pph. those are gonna run really rich unless you recurve the lv8 vs inj pw table.

There is no injector constant that can be reset, to make the injector change really easy?

Hmm... any chance you have a previous post with lots of info on the 302A ecu? Thanks man!

well lest say all things being = that if your maf is unmodified and the cruve is the same you could just do this.

15/21 = .71 or 71%

now if you have a table entry of say

lv8---- pw
---- old ----- new
0 -----1.1ms x .71 = .781 ms
8 -----2.0 ms x .71 = 1.42 ms
12 -----2.5 ms
16 -----3.0ms

etc

do you see where this is going ?? if you use the scale feature in tunercat you can make a gross correction for the whole fuel table then fine tune it back in one entry at a time. in the $3a 1227302 code there is no injector constant. i hope this answers your question
