Quit locking down posts!!

If your Senior members want to be rude to people and post
mis-information, you need to quit locking down the post when people get mad and call them on it.

If you lock down one more post that that forces somebody to show their cards with facts and numbers, and not just make up stories with guesswork, vague answers and "go read the basics" when they don't know the basics themselves......

I'm out of here never to return.

Don't get mad, get even. Post the right information. That's helpful.

There is a "report this post to a Moderator" facility at the bottom of the post if you don't like the tone of the writer. Returning the agressive tone doesn't "force somebody to show their cards with facts and numbers", it just gets it all personal and off the point.

You are being baited all over the board by someone with 3000 posts who has helped a whole lot of people out (and upset a much smaller number), but no-one in their right mind believes he is omniscient. Why bother trying to pick the odd time when he's wrong and rub his face in it? When he's wrong, just keep giving the right information and everyone benefits. I'd like to see you get to 3000 posts and be right all the time

That's 3,000 here since the this board went public. Toss in almost 2.000 at the Turbobuick.com board, and alot of posts at the DIE-EFI site, and not to mention lesser seen boards, and then number gets really large.
And when you span as many years, you better believe new data comes to light.
Not to mention, I've seen two of the sharpest guys I know come to odds over a piece of code. Task and results were agreed upon, but the means to the end was different enough for them to each stick to their guns.

And there are a few subjects, that I do have an ego attachment to and if you want to speculate, and make entirely wrong assumptions about them, you will hear from me. Just a part of being human thing.

Just wish I could get the last word in before various threads got locked, but life ain't fair. LOL

Stop being stupid or I'll ban you. Period. I e-mailed Jesse and told him I was going to lock it along with the reasons why and along with some other information. It's his post and it's a VERY useful post so it's good that it doesn't get cluttered up with useless dribble ... especially for the MAF guys who need that post. 87400tpi got the last word anyhow so just leave it alone. This is your only warning.
