speed limiter

i have a 1986 TPI IROC-Z28 and was just wondering what the speed limiter was set at

I've seen quite a few of them set to 255!!

I don't know,, seems that the 255 mph limiter and that damn 10K rev limiter are really killing my 1/8 mi times!!
