I'm trying to build the ALDL interface cable and have all the parts except the adapter to connect to the ALDL on the car. Where can I get one? I have a friend with an electronics degree who's helping me and we can't find just that part. We can find the whole cable but that's not what I want. Enyone help me?

 

I'd be interested to see what you find in the US. I priced an ALDL plug (bare plug only) from a GM Holden dealer and was told AUD $200 (about $130 US!!). Not on your life mate

I've just got loose wires with the appropriate size pins to connect.

I make the plugs you are looking for. This weekend is kinda booked up for me with work on my car but if you PM me with an address to send it to I can make you one for the cost of the 2 sub D connectors I use from Radio Shack.
